Puerto Morelos

PUERTO MORELOS - Is the gateway to the Riviera Maya, located only 23.9 Miles (38.5 Km) from Cancun and 21.7 miles (35 km) from Playa del Carmen.
It keeps the atmosphere of a small town, many foreigners chose Puerto Morelos as their new home town. Life in Puerto Morelos is completely informal.
Its nickname is “La Joya del Caribe” (Jewel of the Caribbean). It seems like time stands still here.
The ocean is a contrast of colors from light turquoise to dark blues, it is a paradise for divers and snorkelers, the worlds second largest reef is located only 500 yards from the shore. You will be amazed by the difference between the three different coral reef systems where abundant marine life coexists.
